WORKSHOPS
THE SPACE BETWEEN US
We are relational beings, continually affected by the people around us — by attention, proximity, attraction, conflict, belonging, rejection, touch, desire, grief and play.
Group work gives us somewhere to explore this in real time. Another person becomes part of the practice: someone to move towards or away from, resist, meet, follow, lead, disagree with, desire, play with, grieve alongside, be seen by and respond to.
You can be affected by another person without being governed by your reaction to them. You can remain connected to yourself, feel what is happening, and develop greater freedom and choice in how you respond.
There is room here for the whole human experience: the wild and the quiet, pleasure and grief, intimacy and resistance, laughter and sorrow, creation and loss. Nothing has to be made more palatable to belong.
This is the territory of the social nervous system — where relationship becomes part of the practice, and part of the art.
PLAY, RESISTANCE & RELATIONSHIP
Play gives us somewhere to experiment with ourselves in relationship. To push and be pushed. Lead and follow. Take up space, surrender it, change our minds, get something wrong, laugh and try again.
Play Fight brings this into the body through consensual physical contact, resistance, strength and boundaries. What happens when another person pushes against you — literally and relationally? Can you feel your response without immediately being governed by it? Can you find your yes, your no, your more, your less, your stop?
The stakes are low enough to play, while the responses in your body are real enough to learn from.

INTIMACY, ATTRACTION & EROS
Intimacy is something we can practice.
Through embodied relational work, we explore attention, attraction, vulnerability, boundaries, desire, polarity, connection and erotic aliveness. What happens to you in the presence of another? Can you remain connected to yourself while allowing yourself to be seen, affected, moved or desired?
The Intimacy & Attraction Workshop®, developed by Michaela Boehm and Steve James, is one of the bodies of practice I draw upon in this territory, alongside my wider work with embodiment, intimacy, sexuality and Eros.
This isn't about manufacturing intimacy. It is about developing your capacity for it — more presence, more responsiveness and more choice in how you meet another.

REWILD, EXPRESSION & CONNECT
There is something particular that happens when women practice together.
The Wild Woman's Circle™, developed by Michaela Boehm from The Wild Woman's Way®, brings embodiment, women's group practice and ritual into the exploration of expression, pleasure, intimacy and connection.
My work with women also draws from years of facilitating spaces around embodiment, sexual liberation, power, emotional expression and subtle energy.
There is room here for tenderness and power, pleasure and grief, wildness and stillness, laughter, conflict, connection and change.

PLAY, IMPROVISATION & THE UNKNOWN
Improvisation asks something particular of your nervous system: you don't know what happens next.
There is no perfect response to prepare in advance. You have to notice, receive, respond and create with what is actually happening.
Through movement, play, improvisation and relational practice, we explore spontaneity, expression, uncertainty, belonging and the freedom to get things wrong. Instead of withdrawing when the unexpected arrives, you learn to include it in the score.
This is responsiveness in practice: staying connected to yourself while allowing what is happening around you to influence what you create next.
GRAVITAS: GRIEF, LOSS & SALT WATER MEDICINE
Grief belongs here too. Gravitas is my embodied group work with grief, creating space for what has weight to be witnessed, expressed, moved with and shared, without rushing it towards resolution.
Grief doesn't exist separately from aliveness. It sits alongside love, pleasure, desire, rage, beauty, humour and connection. We grieve because something matters.
In a group, we can practice not only staying present with our own grief, but remaining present in the face of another's, without fixing it, fleeing from it or requiring it to become something else.
Gravitas — future offerings to be announced.
