My Yoga Story

Yoga found me at a breaking point, when facing a day felt unbearable. My body ached. My mind never stopped, I was emotionally reactive, chronically exhausted, unable to sleep. As a single mother and sole carer to my daughter Alexandra - born a bright light in an uncooperative body, with severe cerebral palsy and CPTSD from years of being bashed and bullied inside the broken medical model. I was utterly depleted, beyond despair, both of us in pain we didn’t know how to understand. Disconnected. Searching for something, but with no energy reserves to even look.

That’s when Kehry Frank, our spiritual mother, re-appeared in our lives like magic. A master energetic healer trained in kinesiology, Chinese polarity, and traditional hatha yoga, she opened the door to the world of energy medicine, yogic wisdom, and embodied connection.

It was through her that we discovered yoga—not as a series of poses, but as a path back to ourselves. Alexandra couldn’t participate physically, but she could visualise. And through that visualisation done with presence and discipline, came stillness and transformation more profound than anything I’d ever seen.

She didn’t need to move to feel the release, the bliss, the connection. This was yoga as energy, as intention, as inner alchemy.

And if Alexandra, who cannot independently form a single posture could access and experience the magic of yoga, I knew anyone could. That moment changed everything. I became a yoga teacher creating classes filled with invitations for awareness, presence connection and self-healing, classes available for every body - it became my why. 

My Approach

Yoga is about learning to move energy without force, classes are an exploration of union, connection and self-healing. Yoga is a path home and I know first had how messy that path can get, and it is all very much welcomed.

My classes are designed to help you slow down, tune in, and reconnect with the deep intelligence of your body, to listen and receive the gifts it has to offer you. I teach from the understanding that everything is energy, and that true healing and authentic power begins with awareness, not force.

You’ll experience a grounded blend of traditional Hatha yoga, functional movement, breathwork, and energetic healing practices drawn from my experience working as a kinesiologist, kundalini bodywork practitioner, qigong instructor, and more. Whether we’re moving, visualising, or simply being, the goal is the same: to come home to presence, inner peace and energetic expansion.

Though Kehry is no longer earth-side, her wisdom lives on through every class I offer, woven together with my own path of healing, experience and offerings, and embodied transformation.

Who It’s For?

I welcome the experienced asana body right though to those who’ve been told or thought that yoga isn’t for theirs.

Whether you’re in pain, living with trauma, navigating disability or chronic illness—or just feeling disconnected, there is a place for you here. My classes welcome seasoned yogis and absolute beginners, human pretzels and people who can’t get up off the floor. You can move energy with a single thought.

When we learn to listen to the whispers of our body, it no longer has to scream to be heard. Yoga is an invitation to listen. To soften. To awaken. To come home.
