My Yoga Story

Yoga entered my life at a moment when everything in my world felt too heavy to hold. My body was exhausted, my mind relentless, my emotions raw. As a single mother and full‑time carer to my daughter Alexandra - born bright, brilliant, and living inside a body marked by severe cerebral palsy and deep medical trauma - I had reached a point of complete depletion. We were both in pain we didn’t yet have language for.

When my teacher, Kehry Frank - a master energetic healer trained in kinesiology, Chinese polarity therapy, and traditional hatha yoga - reappeared in our lives, something shifted. She opened the doorway to a new possibility: that regulation, relief, and connection were still available to us.

Yoga met me there - not as posture or performance, but as energy, intention, and inner alignment. Alexandra could not physically participate, but she could visualise. And through that visualisation, she experienced release, joy, and profound stillness. It showed me that yoga was never about the shape itself - it was about what moved beneath the surface.

If my daughter, who cannot independently form a single pose, could access the medicine of yoga through presence alone, then I knew this path was meant for every body. That moment changed everything. I became a yoga teacher committed to making this work accessible, invitational, and rooted in inner listening rather than outer achievement.

My Approach

My yoga is slow medicine — an exploration of energy, presence, and inner coherence. I teach yoga as a somatic pathway home to yourself, a practice of moving energy without force and connecting with the wisdom already living in your body.

My classes draw from:

  • traditional Hatha yoga

  • functional and intuitive movement

  • breathwork and somatic regulation practices

  • qigong and Taoist energy principles

  • kinesiology and subtle body awareness

  • embodied meditation and visualisation

Whether we are moving, still, sensing, or visualising, the intention is always the same: to cultivate a deeper relationship with your body’s intelligence and restore the internal pathways to peace, clarity, and energetic expansion.

Kehry’s teachings continue to live through every class I offer, woven together with my own lineage of somatic work, trauma healing, and embodied transformation.

Who It’s For

My classes welcome every woman — from seasoned practitioners to those who have been told or have believed that yoga isn’t for their body.

This space is for you if:

  • you are in pain, physically or emotionally

  • you live with trauma, disability, or chronic illness

  • you feel disconnected from your body or overwhelmed by life

  • you long for a gentler, truer way to come home to yourself

You do not need flexibility, strength, or prior experience. You do not even need to get up and down from the floor. You can move energy with breath, with awareness, with a single thought.

When we learn to listen to the whispers of the body, it no longer needs to scream to be heard.

Yoga is an invitation to listen. To soften. To awaken. To return.

Every body is welcome here.
